I Hired a Young, Beautiful, and Hardworking Maid Who Kept the House Spotless — But on My Son’s Wedding Day, She Suddenly Rushed Forward, Knelt Down, and Confessed a Shocking Truth That Threw the Entire Ceremony into Chaos…
The day I hired a new maid, everyone had to nod their heads in praise. She was young, her face was bright, and she was skillful and assured. My room is always clean and shiny, and the soup is sweet. Many times my relatives came to visit, and joked that I was “blessed to meet a maid who is both gentle and good”.
For several years, I treated her as a member of the family. My son also loves and praises “my mother found the treasure”.
Then came the big day – my son’s wedding. The whole house was busy, the guests were crowded, bustling with music and praise. I was rejoicing in happiness when suddenly in the midst of the bride and groom preparing for the ceremony, the maid suddenly rushed straight to the stage, knelt down in front of my son and choked up and uttered a sentence that made the whole hall dumbfounded:
“He… it’s my son!”
A whisper rumbled. My limbs were numb, my heart seemed to fall from my chest. The whole audience was stunned. My son stood dead, the bride fell to her knees in shock.
The maid continued, her eyes filled with tears:
“Many years ago, I accidentally gave birth to a baby, I was not eligible to raise it, so I had to send it to an orphanage. I kept thinking that my child was lost forever… Unexpectedly, my grandparents adopted him and myself… unwittingly became a maid in the house where my biological son grew up.”
I turned pale, every word like a knife slashing into my heart. The whole hall was chaotic, and the chatter did not stop.
But the shock didn’t stop there. In the midst of the chaos, my father-in-law – who had been silent earlier – suddenly stood up, pointed directly at the maid and grumbled every word:
“You haven’t even said it yet! That baby wasn’t just hers… but also my own blood!”
That scream was like thunder in the sky. They were all stunned. I collapsed, not believing my ears. It turned out that the secret that had been moving for many years was exposed right on my son’s wedding day…
